Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Where can I park?

 

There is a pay and display for up to 2 hours (30 minutes free parking) right outside the salon and all along the road. If it is full, there is 3 hours free parking at Borehamwood Shopping Centre (we recommended parking near Halfords) which is a short 3-4 minute walk to the salon.

Q. Where is the nearest stations?

We are situated a short 3 minute walk from Elstree & Borehamwood station. Unfortunately, we do not have any underground stations close to us, however, Elstree & Borehamwood is very easily accessible from London. From King's Cross, it is under 25 minutes on the train to us, and trains run very frequently throughout the day, every 15 minutes.

Q. Do you take walk-ins?

Walk-ins are always welcomed, however we cannot guarantee that you will be seen. We will always give you an approximate wait time if we are able to squeeze you in but it is not guaranteed. Hence, we strongly advise that you book with an appointment with us to avoid disappointment.

Q. How do I book an appointment?

Bookings can be made online on our website. Alternatively, you are welcome to contact us via our social media platforms (Instagram or Facebook) or give us a call on 0208 953 5153.

Q. Can I bring my children/other guests to the salon?

Yes, however we strongly advise not to as there will be sharp tools around the salon, which may be dangerous. Also, we have limited waiting area spaces, which are prioritised for waiting clients. To ensure a relaxing experience for all clients, we would like to keep additional visitors to a minimum.

Q. How do I book nail designs?

Designs include anything additional added on top of your nails other than one plain colour, including if you want multiple colours or french tip finishes (if unsure, refer to our french tip guide). Designs must be quoted when booking your appointment as they require additional time, we will try our best to accommodate your design requests, however due to scheduling, this may not always be possible. We advise that if you have a specific nail design in mind that you would like for a specific appointment, to book in advance so we can accommodate accordingly. If you would like a design but are unsure of what to quote when booking, please send us a photo of the design you like on Instagram or Facebook and we will be happy to assist and provide a quote if requested.

Q. Do you sell gift cards, if so, how do I purchase one?

Yes we do! You can purchase our gift cards in set amounts (£25, £50 & £100) on our website under the Shop tab. Alternatively, you can come into our salon to purchase a gift card for a specific treatment or customised amount. Please note that gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be redeemed instore with a physical copy. Photographs of the gift cards are not accepted. Q. Which gel brands do you use?

We use a variety of quality gel brands including DND, DC, Blazing Star, & Glitterbels.

​

Q. Can I bring my own polish for you to use on my nails?

Of course you can. You are welcome to bring your own regular polish in to be used during your treatment.
